// Awakening Hope
The Dream
At Revive Church, we believe God is awakening hope, one life at a time. Our heart is to create a life-giving, authentic community where people can encounter Jesus, find belonging, and discover their God-given purpose.
This is a church for everyone — military and veteran families, young parents raising kids, newcomers, and longtime residents alike — a place to experience hope, healing, and authentic relationships.
Because when hope awakens in one life, it doesn't stop there. It transforms families, friendships, and even whole communities. We believe now is the time to awaken hope in our city, one life at a time.
Our City
A Church for Our City — Rooted in the South
We're planting Revive Church in the Riverside South area it’s one of the fastest-growing and most diverse parts of Ottawa. Surrounded by communities like Findlay Creek, Greely, Manotick and Barrhaven.
We have a heart for our city to experience revival. We believe there is an awakening of hope that is taking place in our nation's capital.
Ottawa, Ontario
-
We believe it’s time to plant a church in the Riverside South vicinity, where population growth is soaring, but spiritual connection and community are often hard to find.
This part of Ottawa is home to:
Military and veteran families navigating postings, deployments, and new beginnings
New Canadians seeking connection, friendship, and spiritual roots
Young families and professionals balancing work, parenting, and purpose
Single parents and blending families looking for support and stability
Retirees and empty nesters entering new seasons with fresh spiritual questions
People facing burnout, loneliness, or disconnection, longing to feel known again
-
Ottawa has over 5,900 active CAF families
Thousands of veterans live across the region
Nearly 1 in 4 Ottawa residents is a newcomer to Canada
Communities like Riverside South & Findlay Creek are growing faster than churches are forming
This is a moment to build something new — where hope awakens one life at time.
Why Plant a Church?
New churches attract non-churched people on average of about 3-6 times more than older churches. Only one in 10 new members of churches over 15 years old are people who were not Christians or not churched previously, while in new churches it is one in 3 or even 2 out of 3.
New churches are the best way to renew the older, existing churches. New churches attract and produce more converts, leaders, and givers, many of which find their ways into the other churches of the city.
Revive Church is being planted in partnership with ARC Canada, a network dedicated to launching and supporting life-giving churches across the nation and the world. We’re grateful to be coached and supported by the Association of Related Churches and their vision to see communities transformed by the message of Jesus.
